CBD Oil Made in USA

The term 'CBD oil' has become increasingly popular in recent years. More people are now incorporating CBD products into their daily life as a result. Cannabidiol (CBD) has undoubtedly become a part of our daily routines across many cultures, for the simple reason that in regularly consuming CBD oil, many are granted a multitude of health benefits. CBD oil is also fairly easy to consume in exchange for the associated benefits.

That being said, many of us feel obligated to educate ourselves, and to connect more deeply with what we put into our bodies. Nordic Oil is committed to establishing awareness, educating people, and making CBD oil and CBD products more accessible. Our belief is that by delivering high-quality and innovative products to our Nordic Oil Family, all over the world we are doing our part to make the world that much better.

We hope to be a reliable source for our Nordic family to study and be informed about CBD oil. Our hope is to empower you to make confident decisions while buying Nordic Oil CBD products from our US shop, made in the USA.

What does CBD stand for?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a plant compound, naturally occurring from either the Hemp (Cannabis Sativa), or Cannabis (Cannabis Indica) plant. In the US our CBD oil product is grown, harvested and made in the USA and comes from organic practices in Colorado and Nevada.

What is CBD?

CBD is one of the 'cannabinoids' that is naturally present in both hemp and cannabis plants, and their final product.

In simple terms, ‘cannabinoids’ are active plant compounds that are present in many plants. However, the term cannabinoid is often associated with the cannabis plant. Cannabidiol (or CBD as it is commonly known), is one of the most popularized and researched Cannabinoids.

So far, scientific research has led to the discovery of more than 500 natural chemical compounds from the cannabis plant. Yet less than one hundred of the cannabinoids have actually been identified. Among them, CBD and THC are the most familiar to us, largely due to their presence in pop-culture. So it is important to consider that because of this, there is still a wealth of knowledge to be gained from further study of these unidentified cannabinoids.

Other cannabinoids from the cannabis plant, which have already been identified and researched, include THC, CBN, THCV, CBG, CBC, CBL, and many others.

Each of these cannabinoids possess different qualities. Due to their distinct chemical structures, of which CBD is the most extensively studied, at Nordic Oil we seek to innovate, and to develop specific CBD products for a variety of needs.

THC is regularly avoided in our CBD oil and CBD products beyond the legal limit of 0.3% allotted by the 2018 Farm Bill. We choose to avoid THC due to its psychoactive properties and Schedule 1 status. Full Spectrum CBD oil does not exhibit psychoactive effects as its molecular structures are aligned differently. CBD only interacts with the C2 receptor in the brain, which controls the central nervous system.

What is CBD oil?

CBD oil is an extract from the cannabis plant, and can come from either Cannabis Sativa which is low in THC, or Cannabis Indica. When made in the USA, CBD oil is largely more accessible from the Cannabis Sativa species.

Above, we mentioned some terms like species and chemotypes. Both of which refer to the different varieties of the cannabis plant. High Cannabidol (CBD) containing cannabis species are selectively cultivated for their medicinal properties.

The next important aspect to consider when learning about CBD oil is the carrier oil.

Cannabis extracts are highly lipophilic, meaning that they are fat friendly, and have an easier time dissolving into the fats within the body. Hence, the plant compounds need a ‘carrier’ oil to make it easy for the body to absorb and easily integrate their properties into the cells.

Carrier oils help to improve Cannabidiol (CBD)'s bioavailability as the cells allow CBD into their own lipids, naturally. CBD also combines well with plant based fatty substances, as they help to increase the absorption of the cannabinoid. For example, hemp seed, and black cumin seed oil for the EU, fractionated MCT oil made in the USA are some of the carrier oils which are predominantly used in Nordic Oil CBD.

Nordic Oil CBD oils

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) fractionated Coconut oil is used for our Full Spectrum CBD Oil products in the US. We choose to incorporate MCT fractionated coconut oil, primarily for the associated health benefits. Coconuts are rich in essential fatty acids. Fats such as omega-6 and omega-3 are properties of superfoods, and are present in Coconut oil. Fractionated MCT oil offers an aroma free version to coconut oil with all of the associated benefits.

Also, black cumin seed oil is used as a carrier oil in CBD oil with curcumin and piperine and is available in a 1000 mg strength.

Our bestselling Full Spectrum CBD Oils are available in 500 mg, 1000 mg, and 2000 mg concentrations, and are all third party lab tested to ensures top quality.

Leading benefits of CBD oil

There is an ever-growing collection of information available on the internet regarding CBD. The research worthy of studying likely does not provide medical advice diagnosis. Regardless of the product, CBD oil tincture, or full spectrum CBD does not yet have the scientific evidence to confirm the effects of CBD.

One may easily find sources of information stating medicinal claims regarding potential health benefits about CBD oil. It is rewarding to study the evidence from scientific review, rather than take the provided information as truth when looking for alternatives to resolve health problems.

At Nordic Oil, we aim to educate you with reliable and research-backed information. Our hope is to create a practical guide for people who seek the best from nature.

From a research perspective, the range of health benefits that cannabinoids address and their applicability to various conditions is a work in progress. However, experts in the field actively discuss the potential medicinal uses of different cannabinoids, including CBD oil.

Therefore there are several aspects to consider while doing research on the health benefits of CBD, along with other cannabinoids.

  • How do cannabinoids respond to the human body?
  • The influence of several aspects such as the formulation, route of administration, metabolism, applicable health conditions, prescribed medication, and how these factors influence the effectiveness of using CBD oil.
  • Understanding how to best administer CBD and how to tailor the dosage, according to an individual’s requirements.

How should you take CBD oil?

Using CBD oil is a simple process.

One of the most efficient and common ways to consume CBD oil is by taking it sublingually (under the tongue).

Simply place the drops directly under your tongue, hold for up to one minute to allow the oil to absorb, and then swallow. The tiny capillaries under the tongue emit digestive enzymes and help to absorb substances quickly into the bloodstream without passing through the digestive system.

Another popular method of taking CBD oil is to add the drops directly into your food, or beverages. Some people prefer to infuse CBD oil with essential oils and apply it directly to their skin as a topical.

How much CBD oil do I take?

Just like when trying new foods, you may also start using CBD by taking small amounts, or microdosing throughout your day when beginning to use CBD.

Our CBD Oil bottles include a pipette to allow for easy and practical usage. On the label, you will find the amount of CBD in mg per bottle, as well as a recommended dosage guide in the 'READ ME' booklet included in your order.

When it comes to dosage, each individual may require a different dose of CBD. If you are a beginner and eager to incorporate CBD into your routine, follow the ‘start low and go slow’ approach. This means taking a low dose, being roughly 20-30 mL of CBD daily, throughout your day for the first week, and from there, increasing the dosage until you have attained the desired results. Experienced users might opt for a higher dose.

Can I take CBD oil every day?

Yes, you can take CBD oil every day and incorporate it into your daily routine. When you are beginning your wellness journey with CBD, it is important not to overload your system, since it is often the case at the start, that ‘less is more’. Taking less ensures that you will note the likely subtle changes that can guide you towards the most effective dosage for you.

Some users who regularly take CBD for a period of many months will sometimes pause for several days, up to one week to allow the body to reset itself. As CBD is stored in the body’s fats, the amount stored will affect the experience of consuming CBD. The low and slow approach, and occasional reset can help the body to maximise the positive effect of CBD.

How does CBD oil make you feel?

This is undoubtedly one of the most common questions that we may ask when starting a CBD oil routine. Above all, it is important to understand that CBD is non-psychoactive and does not get you high.

So, how does CBD oil make you feel?

Generally, CBD can help to bring the body and mind into a more balanced state, which could make you feel more relaxed and calm. The best practice is to keep a journal with the date, time of administration, and take notes. CBD Oil remains active in the system for 2-6 hours and requires 20-40 minutes to begin its effects.

All of our CBD oils are also full-spectrum and therefore can enhance the effects of CBD due to the ‘entourage effect’. This is because the full-spectrum of cannabinoids present in our organically grown, and harvested hemp contains all the important cannabinoids of the hemp plant, not just CBD. These cannabinoids are CBDa, CBN, CBC, as well as traces of THC and THCa (less than 0.3%) with naturally occurring plant terpenes.

Is the entourage effect the same as feeling high?

Feeling high is different from the entourage effect. Full-spectrum CBD oil brings out the overall effect of all the cannabinoids and terpenes with a positive outcome, without the risk of feeling high.

Through our experience, the entourage effect can provide much broader health benefits since the entire cannabis plant is used. For this reason, we are proud to offer Full Spectrum CBD products.

Psychoactive cannabinoids present in THC based products are known to be responsible for the ‘high’ sensation. For some, the experience may bring up fear, or concern. Feeling ‘high’ may be attributed to a relaxed mental experience, accompanied by some unwanted effects such as visual delusions, confusion, paranoia, and other expansive cerebral sensations.

An isolated formulation of pure CBD oil, such as Broad Spectrum CBD, or Isolate will not produce the benefits of the entourage effect.

Is CBD oil safe?

There are two sides to the safety aspect.

When it comes to consumption, a 2018 World Health Organization (WHO) report stated that CBD is well-tolerated with a good safety profile. The report claimed that there are no public health issues associated with CBD so far.

The use of CBD and its effects are based on several individual conditions, as with any herbal supplements. Best practice for those planning to try CBD is to discuss the possible interactions of any prescribed medications with your doctor. They will likely be able to guide you towards the right dosage of CBD and warn against any potential issues.

With respect to legal safety, the legislative landscape is continuously changing to ensure the lawful manufacture of CBD products. The regulatory status of CBD is a complex process, and progress globally has been made in the past several years.

Due to a growing public interest and demand for hemp-derived CBD products, rigorous interventions from public health and safety agencies have emerged. Strides within the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States and the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Europe have been responsible for efforts towards regulating cannabis and hemp-derived CBD products.

Safety precautions to keep in mind while looking for CBD products

There are many e-commerce brands that promote and sell CBD products. As consumers, taking time to research, establish trust and ask the necessary questions about product quality is a choice. CBD oil from a commercial, or web ad may be grown without organic practices, and any product information such as country of origin, web review, and the company's mission may be vital to know before buying.

Each CBD product has different strengths, and some products may contain less CBD than the amount stated on the label. Checking the review of a product through reputable sources may lend a star rating, but these often should be confirmed by making contact with the company. Nordic Oil CBD products follow the highest standards and practices in production and quality control.

Nordic Oil CBD made in the USA has been tested and reviewed by third party labs. All of our CBD products are clearly labeled to help provide our customers with necessary information and instructions. Our third-party lab test reports provide transparent information on the product standards, what they contain, and in what amounts.

Additionally, our customer support team is happy to help you with any questions regarding the Nordic Oil product line via phone, chat, or email.

Side effects of CBD oil

Generally, there are few adverse side effects reported by consuming CBD oil. Your ideal dose of CBD may look different from another person, as all people's Endocannabinoid system is different. However, on a case to case basis, individual review and assessment is helpful to guide a dose best suited for you. One may experience dry mouth, mood changes, or drowsiness.

Again, these reactions tend to vary based on age, metabolism, lifestyle, prevailing health conditions, ongoing prescribed medications and are best when discussed with a licensed healthcare professional. For people suffering from any array of ailments or health conditions, our advice is to review your health needs with your medical advisor about incorporating CBD into your wellness routine.

CBD oil and CBD oil tincture may be beneficial towards your health, but all health information should be confirmed with a licensed healthcare professional. We strongly advise that women do not take CBD when pregnant or nursing, as there has not yet been substantial formal research, studies and public review made to confirm personal experiences in this field.
